The So.Di.Co group, with the Naturaverde brand and the La Cosmesi Biologica Naturaverde Bio line of Organic Make Up, was awarded the 2019 Bio Awards, in the Charity Initiative category, awarded by retail and delivered during the last edition of the SANA, the 31st international organic and natural exhibition in Bologna, the main Italian showcase dedicated to organic and natural products, the ideal platform for the Italian and international market.
The Bio Awards are an important initiative, now in its fourth edition, which aims to enhance the commitment of companies in the sector who have distinguished themselves in the conception and creation of innovative products, launched on the market in a period between June 2018 and May 2019.
The Bio Awards 2019 recognition for the Charity Initiative within the Cosmetics sector has been assigned to So.Di.Co for the Un Trucco per Star Meglio activity organized in collaboration with the Loto Onlus Association of the Policlinico Sant’Orsola in Bologna and the CNA of Bologna with the aim of helping women with ovarian cancer to tackle the difficult issue of their image during chemotherapy treatments. The support process takes place with the collaboration of psychologists, hairdressers, beauticians, volunteer make up artists who offer advice, tricks and suggestions to deal with the typical and temporary effects of therapies.
